First Season - 2001

>> Started with 3.5 acre corn maze in the shape of 4 trees, each in a different season. Challenged navigational skills and mind ( had to answer questions to get to the next station, each station would help you find your way out)

>> Opened Haunted Barn in fall (For three Halloween's before, the inside of our house had been turned into a haunted house for the evening to haunt the neighbours. We had decided Halloween 2000 to move the Haunted House to the barn for more room and to keep the weather (mud and rain) out of the house!!!

Second Season - 2002

>> Sandy was awarded a Youth Entrepreneur grant from "Summer Company" worth $3000.

>> The grant was used to open The Haze Maze where visitors were challenged to find their way out of the maze while it was filled with fog, and was in complete darkness.

>> Ice Storm Post Maze was opened. Damaged trees from the Ice Storm of '98 were used to create the post maze.

>> Haunted Bush Walk was opened. The Haunted bush walk takes visitors on an almost 1 km trail through the haunted bush on the property of McMaze. Each group is guided by an unknown being, and we hope that all visitors make it out alive. It has been rumoured that spirit of Freddy Cougar lives in the woods.

>> Picnic area was opened.

Third Season - 2003

The first ever Door Maze, known to our knowledge, was opened. Visitors attempt to find the exit by opening door hoping that one

of the over fifty doors leads to an exit.

>> Over 5.5 acres of pumpkin patch was planted in the spring, and in the fall it turned into a Pick-Your-Own Pumpkin Patch. Visitors could hitch a ride on our Horse-Drawn Wagon Rides to travel to the pumpkin patch.

>> Horse-Drawn Sleigh and Wagon Rides could be booked for parties, etc. Christmas at McMaze was started where visitors could take a sleigh ride to the bush and meet Mr. and Mrs. Claus, get hot chocolate and give Santa their very own wish list.

>> First ever Harvest Day in support of Tagwi Interact Club and Rotary Club district 7040's Humanitarian Mission to El Salvador

>> McMaze was named Entrepreneur of the Year
